I'm trying to get back into my sewing and quilting. Somehow its been very hard for me to get motivated to do it of late.
Last year when the mountains got a dose of real winter in late February, I was in Hawaii and missed the whole thing. Not so this year but that's okay. We don't usually have anything severe and it'll pass soon.

ReplyDeleteJust once, I'm going to spend a winter where it snows like this on a regular basis. Them maybe I won't complain about the heat in Australia!

That's quite beautiful. In England if we got that much snow the entire country would throw a complete wobbly and shut down.
ReplyDeleteI would like a 'proper' winter, just like Stewart. Here our weather changes so dramatically from one day to the next it's impossible to make plans and establish any sort of routine. First-World problems, but frustrating nonetheless.
PS: I too had a long spell when I just could not do anything with fabric and the sewing machine gathered dust. The more I worried about it the less I felt inspired or creative. Then one day I was browsing Curvywitch's blog, saw a little rainbow log cabin quilt she was making and "whoooosh" I was off again :-}
