I've wanted one of these trees for the longest time, but have not been able to find one that suited me. A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across one and it is now MINE!!!
You should see it this morning!! The sun just sparkles off all that colored glass and it's just an explosion of color out in an otherwise drab yard.
I still have to add a few more bottles to it but I think its gorgeous!!!
Y'all take care.
how beautiful. i bet the colors when the sun shines on it... is just amazing!! (:
ReplyDeleteMy SIL has a blue bottle tree. They cut a cedar off their property and trimmed it down. She's buying anything she can find in blue bottles including wine. She said that they've had some pretty bad wine lately. LOL We check antique/junk/second hand stores every time we go out, but those old Vick's bottles are pretty pricey - as far as bottles go...
ReplyDeleteNot seen anything like that over here, I guess the bottles are on metal "branches"? Now if you could site it near water as well . . . sorry, smack wrists, not trying to make things difficult for you!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought a new bottle tree. I love them. I have one for the garden and now one close to the back door. I love the multi-colored bottles you have.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a bottle tree, I would put a rocking chair next to it and I would spend a lot of time sitting there. :) Anyway, I am first time at your blog. Where in FL are you? I am moving to FL in a couple of months.
ReplyDeleteOh, I bet it is gorgeous when the sun shines upon it! Clever idea!
ReplyDeleteLooks perfect in your garden - I've heard that they make beautiful sounds when it rains...?
ReplyDeleteLove from Indiana! ~bonnie
